Sixth Annual Halloween Pumpkin Decorating Contest

It’s that most TERRIFYING time of the year! If you’ve banked with us for a while, you KNOW how much we LOVE Halloween. For the past five years, we’ve invited second grade classes from the Andover School District to decorate and submit pumpkins to celebrate Halloween. The classes work together to come up with an idea, and then they put that idea into action. The winning class gets a pizza party on us!

We LOVE this tradition!

This year we have six second grade classes participating. We have a shorter voting window than last year, so the faster you like and share your favorite entry, the more votes it will receive. You can vote one of two ways:

(1) On Facebook: Starting Monday, October 30, at 5 p.m., we will post all entries in an album on our Facebook page. A “like” for each photo counts as one vote.

(2) In Person: On Tuesday, October 31, drop by our main bank in Andover to vote by ballot. During the Andover Chamber of Commerce’s Safe Halloween, we will move the entries outside so friends and families of trick-or-treaters can submit their votes in person.

To summarize: Facebook voting beings at 5 p.m. on Monday, October 30, and runs until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31. Ballot voting begins Tuesday, October 31, and runs until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31.

We will combine the Facebook “likes” with the ballots. The entry with the most votes wins!

Grow your favorite entry’s Facebook “likes” by sharing the album with your friends and asking them to “like” your photo.

And remember, the Andover Chamber of Commerce’s Safe Halloween takes place on Tuesday, October 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Our community comes together to offer a fun, safe environment. For more information, visit the Chamber’s website.

Good luck!
